Datenschutzerklärung — GDPR / DSGVO
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use longenity.life, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this site is:

2. Server log files
Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: page requested, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, time of request and IP address. This data is not merged with other sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a technically secure and reliable site.
3. Contact and enquiry forms
When you submit a form we store the name, email address and message you provide, together with a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. The IP is hashed rather than stored: we use it only to rate-limit abuse, which needs to know how often, not who.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep enquiries until they are resolved and no longer needed.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter signup uses a double opt-in process: after you enter your address we send a confirmation link, and you are only subscribed once you open it. This proves consent and prevents anyone subscribing an address they do not control.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time — every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link, and withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
5. Discovery call bookings
When you request a call we store your name, email address, any phone number and note you supply, and your chosen slot, in order to schedule and confirm the appointment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Local storage in your browser
The meal planner and shopping list are stored in your own browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes it. We set no tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Processors
We use the following service providers, each under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:

8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
- have your data erased (Art. 17)
- restrict processing (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- withdraw consent at any time, with future effect (Art. 7(3))
To exercise any of these, email hello@longenity.life. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
9. Encryption
This site uses HTTPS for all traffic, so what you send us cannot be read in transit.
